The World’s Oldest Known Crown (c. 4000–3500 BCE) 👑✨

Discovered in 1961 as part of the famous Nahal Mishmar hoard in a Judaean Desert cave near the Dead Sea, this 6,000-year-old copper crown is the earliest ever found.
Dating back to the Chalcolithic (Copper) Age, this cylindrical band features enigmatic motifs: prominent vultures, stylized architectural façades with square openings, and horns — likely used in sacred rituals and burial ceremonies for elite figures of the era.
